QDNL Amsterdam was founded by the Dutch research center for quantum software QuSoft, Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica and the University of Amsterdam. The hub's mission is to connect academia, industry and society by facilitating knowledge exchanges and innovation. It is one of the five official hubs of QDNL.

The Future of the Amsterdam Quantum Ecosystem

At Amsterdam Science Park, the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is building the new LabQ. This building, which is part of the Faculty of Science and involves quantum partners and new collaborations, will become the central hub in Amsterdam where education, research and valorisation in the field of quantum physics and technology converge. The building will have a floor area of approximately 13,000 square meters, with an expected completion date in early 2029.
